1. Scope

These terms govern your use of the www.slashmental.com website and the basis on which we provide services. Specific client engagements are governed by an engagement letter signed between SLASHMENTAL LTD and the client; in the event of conflict, the engagement letter takes precedence for the matters it covers.

SLASHMENTAL LTD (referred to as "we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16954505), with registered office at 4 Castle Quay, Castle Boulevard, Nottingham, NG7 1FW, United Kingdom.

3. Acceptable use

By accessing this website you agree not to:

• Use it for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems
• Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to extract content at scale without our written permission
• Reproduce, copy, sell or commercially exploit our content without our written permission
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code

4. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including written content, video, images, frameworks, diagrams, and the /mental brand and identity — is owned by SLASHMENTAL LTD or licensed to us. 6. Engagement and payment terms

Client engagements are governed by an engagement letter signed before work commences. The engagement letter sets out scope, fees, timelines, and any variations to the standard terms below.

In the absence of contrary terms in the engagement letter:

• Diagnostic engagements are invoiced in two tranches: 50% on commencement, payable within 7 days; 50% on delivery, payable within 14 days. Work begins on receipt of the first payment. Both tranches are non-refundable once work has commenced.
• Retainers run on a 12-month initial term with a break clause exercisable at 6 months. Termination requires 2 months' written notice from either party. Fees are invoiced monthly in advance and payable within 14 days. Notice cannot be given to expire during the first 6 months of the initial term.
• Late payment may incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
• Invoice disputes should be raised in writing to finance@slashmental.com within 14 days of issue.

These terms may be varied on a case-by-case basis in the engagement letter.

7. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party websites. We do not control those sites and accept no responsibility for their content or practices.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SLASHMENTAL LTD's total liability arising out of or in connection with your use of this website is limited to £100. Liability arising under a client engagement is limited as set out in the engagement letter. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
